The story:

SAS Corbet is a not-for-profit co-op in Burgundy producing incredible wines, we came across them when searching for a replacement for the 2019 Pinot Noir which was smoke affected during the 2020 bushfires. After a long search we came across three samples of Beaujolais Villages which was a standout wine. After much reflection over the contradiction of being a sustainable wine merchant but importing a wine from France, we calculated that importing a 1000L tank from France, was still less than half of the carbon emissions, when sold through our system, than even local wines sold through a conventional bottle shop.

Since then, we have ordered another several thousand litres to keep up with the demand of one of our most popular wines.
