Malbec is renowned for its robust flavours and versatility. Originally hailing from the Cahors region in southwestern France, where it is known as "Côt" or "Auxerrois," Malbec has found its true calling in the high-altitude vineyards of Argentina, particularly in Mendoza. This New World adaptation has propelled Malbec to international acclaim, offering rich, fruit-forward wines with soft tannins and vibrant acidity.

Our 2022 vintage has generous supple plum fruit with a soft mouthfeel and loads of juicy fruit. It finishes smooth and soft, with a medium body. Low acid, low tannin. We reckon it’s a great example of this variety, very easy drinking. From our friends at Benalla.
