Our Team
Marshall (he/him), Founder
Responsible for sourcing all the wines, Marshall has been in the wine industry for nearly 40 years. All of the great wines we put on are based on the extensive industry contacts developed by Marshall over a lifetime. You can catch him at the Queen Street ReWine refilling his market regulars bottles, Tuesday-Saturday. The rest of the time, he’s ensuring all stores are running smoothly! When he’s not working, you can find him sipping on a Pinot Noir or two.
Janet (she/her), Director
With a history in Silicone Valley Tech and IT project management, Janet makes sure all the ReWine systems and back of house operations run smoothly. She loves the Monmousseau Sparkling Chenin Blanc!
Maddy (she/her), Brunswick Venue Manager
Maddy runs our Brunswick location. She joined us in 2022 bearing not only a huge amount of experience and knowledge in hospo management and back of house operations, but loads of charisma as well. She’s quickly befriended all her Brunswick regulars, as well as attracted lots of new refillers. She’s also a fan of interior design, and has recently made lots of great new changes to the store. She’s got a fantastic palate, so hit her up for all your wine tasting related questions!
Mel (she/her), Queen St Manager
When Mel arrived for her first day, she was given a paint brush instead of a wine list as we had not finished the CBD store. Mel brings extensive hospitality knowledge to the Queen Street ReWine. She’s also responsible for much of the social media, menu and website design. Plus, she loves drinking wine; her favourite ReWine variety is the Sangiovese! Mel stays pretty busy and when she’s not at ReWine, she works part time as a research consultant.
Cam (he/him), Marketing
Cam started developing his marketing skills at age 5 when he was able to describe all ReWine wines to 50 year old Greek guys at the Preston market; he can still sell Pinot Noir to just about anyone.
Having recently completed a degree in marketing, Cam is busy strategising promotion and content for ReWine!
Andrew (he/him), Queen St Venue Manager
Andrew joined the team as a casual staff member in 2023, having worked extensively in hospo and events management. He brought loads of experience and a ton of energy to everything he did, getting involved in back of house wine sourcing with Marshall. He quickly earned himself a spot on the management team! You’ll catch him at our CBD store, ensuring everything runs smoothly and keeping Marshall in line!
Merryn (she/her)
Merryn is also one of our casuals - the first to be employed at Queen St after it opened. She’s a busy woman, working full time elsewhere, however she hasn’t left us completely! Merryn makes some wines of her own, under her label Honing and she also makes our Honey Liqueur. She also helps out with the back of house testing at ReWine, and does the weekly sulphur tests for us to make sure the wines stay fresh!
Charlie (he/him), Manager
Here to make sure everyone has what they need, Charlie has worked in ReWine since the very beginning and together with Marshall spreads the ReWine concept far and wide, he can be found breezing in and out of each store any time of the day or night.
Rubyanna (they/she)
Ruby is our friendliest face around ReWine. Having recently returned to University, you can catch them across both stores refilling bottles and chatting away to customers! They are a fantastic artist, and we’re keen to keep getting them involved in events to showcase their talents - catch Ruby hosting our Still Life Drawing Session in January 2024.
Hayley (she/her)
Hayley joins the team with loads of hospo and management experience. She’s a busy bee, doing loads of projects on the side including digital marketing and music. Find her at both stores providing wine recommendations to all who need!
She’s also gotten involved in our events management, helping organise our reoccurring Still Life Drawing Sessions.
Skip (he/him)
Skip joined ReWine recently, but has been around the team for a while now. He brings lots of management experience, and is eager to get involved with wholesale repping and back of house operations! We’re lucky to have him on board to help expand our offerings.
He’s also a keen content creator, coming up with lots of photo and videos ideas to keep our Instagram and Tiktok fresh. Check out his acting talents here.
CJ (she/her)
CJ is the very latest addition to the ReWine team. She approached us for work with such a good attitude that we couldn’t help but make room for her! CJ has plenty of hospo experience, and a keen interest in wine- making her the perfect fit for the Queen St store. She’s also a wizz in the kitchen, whipping up delicious sweet treats for the other staff.
