The 2022 Shiraz is a delightful example of a cool-climate wine, crafted from premium fruit grown in Benalla, Victoria, by our friend Mark.

Its nose is somewhat earthy, with aromas of ripe black cherry and plum.
Medium-bodied and fruit-forward, it strikes the perfect balance with just enough tannin to maintain elegance. It is unlike many other Australian expressions of Shiraz, namely those from the Barossa Valley, which tend to be very intense. Indeed, it’s more similar to a French Syrah, though it holds on to its Australian fruity character.
This wine is an ideal companion for a BBQ. Red meats and charred veggies would go hand-in-hand into a red sunset.
