Orange wines are making headlines these days, so we decided to step in and show everyone how it’s done!

The Skinzy is made at Hanging Rock winery from Victorian Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. The hint of colour comes from the nice Pinot Gris, whose skins take a beautiful blush colour when ripe. As the wine ferments with the skins on (as do all orange wines), it takes the blush on.

Cloudy with a bit of texture, there are hints of jube-like fruit flavours, citrus notes and a lovely, long finish.

Some wine wanker terms like ‘Phenolic’ and ‘Palate Weight’ could be used here, if you’re into that.
